Ken Masters

I recently answered the call of the wild and obtained my certification to teach younger human beings, though I feel I’ve been teaching most of my life.  I am a knowledge seeker and I hope to help foster lifelong learning for all of my students.  The need, the urge, indeed the very necessity to continue learning must become like siren song and I plan to keep the wax out of my students’ ears.  Call me the human Q-tip.  Call me a wanderer (not Ishmael).  Call me an educator, a leader, a teacher, or call me anything you like.  Just call me!  Much like my door, my ears are always open.  If my door is closed – just shout!

First Girlfriend (age 8):  Laura (redhead, 2^nd grade, last name sadly forgotten)

First Kiss (age 13):  Kathy Hayes (7^th grade, playing Becky Thatcher to my Tom Sawyer)

First Job (age 16):  Bookseller (Century Bookstore - Forum 303 Mall (Arlington, Texas)

First Car (age 17):  1972 Volkswagen Super Beetle with amazing in-dash 8-track player

First / Only Wife (age 21):  Beth Wilson (smart & beautiful, last name unfairly discarded)

First Two Kids:  Jessica Erin & Amanda Paige (smart & beautiful, stuck with last name)
